Our mission is to provide co-adventurers with a realistic and valuable experience.

TIENTOS, an Australian Registered Ship and skippered by husband and wife team Keith & Lea Pennicott, is a comfortable 52’ cutter rigged yacht, powered by an 80hp Perkins. Surveyed to Cat A standard, TIENTOS is equipped with modern safety equipment and electronics including radar, life raft, EPIRB, GPS plotter with accompanying paper charts, medical equipment, satellite phone, HF/VHF
radios, hot water, airconditioning, entertainment systems and a ‘power-dive’ 2 person system. The tender is an 11’ aluminium dinghy powered by an 8hp Yamaha. Cabins are fitted with fans, and a comprehensive film, music and book library caters to all tastes. TIENTOS carries 1000 litres of fuel and 1500 litres of water.

A well-stocked fridge/freezer and pantry combined with fully equipped galley ensures pleasing meals accompanied by wine, cold beer or ice-laden G&T.

Crew signing on contribute to all sailing costs and participate in all onboard duties for the duration of the voyage.

Tientos is a cruising yacht and not a charter vessel and participants sign on as crew following completion of Ship’s Articles and Safety Briefing.
